MEET OUR DESIGNER
Liz Luo
Liz was born and raised in Fujian Province, China, where her cultural heritage inspired a lifelong passion for art and fashion. In 2003, after graduating from the prestigious Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts with a concentration in portrait sketching, she began her career at a renowned bridal manufacturer in Chaozhou. There, she worked as a translator for American clients, an in-house stylist, and a production fabric sourcing manager. It was during this time that Liz perfected her expertise in hand beading, pattern making, draping, and couture bridal design.
After relocating to the United States, Liz devoted more than 25 years to designing custom gowns for private clients—including wedding gowns, mother-of-the-bride ensembles, Quinceañera dresses, prom gowns, and homecoming styles. Her innovative aesthetic and meticulous craftsmanship quickly established her as a designer in high demand within the formalwear and bridal industry.
“Fashion, to me, has always been a canvas for artistic expression—a way to translate beauty and romance through the eyes of a woman. My goal is for each design to embody individuality, romanticism, and timeless elegance,” Liz reflects.
Motivated by innovation and a deep respect for women of all body types and personal styles, Liz launched LIZLÚO BRIDAL—a label dedicated to celebrating artistry, sophistication, and the enduring magic of love.
I have always seen fashion as a powerful canvas for artistic expression—a way to capture beauty and romance through a woman’s perspective. My designs are created to honor individuality, embrace romanticism, and embody timeless elegance.
